Etsy can be a great source for handmade or vintage furniture as well. Mid-century sideboards are particularly friendly for small spaces. This handmade cutie caught my eye HERE

Also with any of these suggestions, they can often be found secondhand. Sideboards, especially those made from solid wood should last for many years. I had one made for us over 11 years ago and it still looks great. At the time I wanted something 15” deep with sliding doors which was very hard to find, not today, you really have so many great small space sideboards options today.
